The rock duo, Sullivan DeMott, is a dynamic fusion of blues, rock, funk, and punk, together materializing in an eclectic brand of music complete with powerful and harmonic vocals, hard-rocking guitars and contagious grooves.
The musical collective of Sean Sullivan (vocals, guitar) and Casey DeMott (vocals, bass), this band has established itself with a well-rounded rock 'n' roll sound, stemming from an all-embracing set of influences-- including Bob Seger, The Rolling Stones, Warren Zevon, and The Faces. Combining the spirit and tones of Detroit rock, boogie-rock, Southern rock, funk, and punk, Sullivan DeMott continually dishes out tunes that serve as a one-two punch to the listener's ear drums. With a no bull attitude, Sullivan DeMott has aimed their brand of swagger at the pursuit of a relevant rock 'n' roll sound.
The duo released their debut album in August of 2009 entitled "Live For Today." The songs that make up the debut release open a number of musical corridors full of melodic vocal lines and swelling guitar licks. There is no shortage of catchy and groovin' tunes to keep the listener ready for more.
More is indeed what listeners were rewarded with when "Half-Loaded" was released in Spring of 2010 as a three song, completely free downloadable set of tunes. In summer of 2010, Sullivan DeMott's singles "Live For Today" and "Here And Gone" were released onto Rock Band Network as a fully interactive way for fans to experience the two popular songs.
